A sleep study, also known as Polysomnography (PSG), is a non-invasive overnight test that helps diagnose sleep disorders like sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, snoring, and narcolepsy.

How Does the Test Work?

  1. You will be asked to a sleep study lab or center.
  2. Small sensors are placed on your scalp, chest, and legs.
  3. Brain waves (EEG), breathing patterns, oxygen saturation, heart rate & rhythm, and body movements are recorded.
  4. Results are analyzed by a sleep specialist for accurate diagnosis.
